Studying the martial arts…in particular the traditional art of Tang Soo Do…requires a understanding the “right words”. The right terminology covers all five (5) pillars of our Moo Do (Martial Way). For example, here are some of the more advanced concepts associated with Tang Soo Do.

 

 

 

·         Hu Ri - Hip

·         Shin Chook –Tension/Relaxation

·         Ho Hup – Breath Control

·         Mushin – No mind or better yet of one(1) mind

·         The Six (6) Fundamental Learning Principles – Look and listen with the intent to learn, record/visualize, imitate, practice, and create
